Flathead A’s 15/16u & 18U teams will be participating in the inaugural season of the Montana Club Baseball Conference (MTCBC). The MTCBC is a collection of premier Club & Travel baseball programs in Montana that have united to bring some cohesiveness to Travel Baseball across the state. This will include but is not limited to +/- 12 MTCBC sanctioned conference games as well as the MTCBC State Tournament during the first week of August!

MTCBC All-State Players will be selected following the state tournament and will be eligible for an “All-Montana” Fall Scout team that will travel to top college showcases in the Fall of 2025.

More info to come as we get closer to kicking off the first year of MTCBC in Montana!

The Flathead A’s will be running 15/16u & 18u MTCBC sanctioned teams for summer of 2025.

Practices will begin after the high school season. Plan for practices 3-5x/week accompanied with regular athletic development training and arm care routines.

Rosters will be limited to +/- 11 players per tournament, along with a 3-5 man “taxi” squad that is eligible to earn playing time at tournaments given their effort, and improvement.

15/16u & 18u will play 3 - 4 tournaments + the MTCBC State Tournament

Summer Schedule will be released following try-outs in Spring 2025

• MTCBC State Tournament July 31st - August 2nd (16u & 18u)

***Additional Travel will be required to the east side of the state in order to play Eastern MTCBC teams.

4-6 Double headers will also occur throughout the season. Games will be located in the Missoula area and Flathead Valley

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

Fundraising efforts are already underway! Our Scholarship Board has fundraisers going year round. Players will be able to partake in fundraising to cut down, or eliminate cost of entry. We also have additional scholarships available for those in need. Players/parents will be responsible for their own travel/accommodations during tournaments.

Every athlete will have the opportunity to fundraise ALL registration fees. Costs below include all tournament entry fees. Last year we AVERAGED $925 raised per player (with many well above that amount) and anticipate more this year.

All 15u - 18u Players are expected to work at the Flathead A’s Superdraft (June 27th - 29th). Each player will have the ability to work off up to $500 off of their player fee. If a player cannot work the Superdraft or doesn’t want to, they can buy themselves out for $500.
